After meeting, I had a rudimentary idea for the bar in terms of our discussion of fabrics based on the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude:

Not sure how this would work, but just putting the idea up here.

See you tuesday,

The Extension of Man~

Media in general has always been a big argument in terms of good and bad, right and wrong. Some people argue that the new technology line is taking us to a level were data and information that we are receiving and/or watching in our daily bases is actually affecting our life style, and it is shaping our ways of thinking and communicating. People have been using different kind of mediums as sorts of delivering information or ideas since the ancient years in a form of writing, watching, and listening; for instant, muppets were one efficient way of entertaining back in the time.
Marshall McLuhan, the author of “Understanding Media” has brought the topic of the media and the message since 1957, which is an evidence that the media issue has been one of the highlighted issues even at that time, if not before.  Mcluhan even talked about the impact that media has on our world and our society, and he brought up an example of “the Bedouin with his battery radio on board the camel” as an image of the electric speed as he named it and its reflection on remotes areas of bush savannah, and desert, which makes us think about the impact it has on the city side even more.
In our time media is in the state of either believe or reject; for example, KONY 2012 is the number one video ever watched, the video talks about the story of dictator in Uganda who takes young men from their parents and force them to do violence, so at the end of the video there is a call to action for viewers to buy the kit for a campaign that it is against what is happening, and buy adding voices to that campaign the U.S. military will take an action to Ghana. On the other side of the story, it is a conspiracy! and the other side suggest that the U.S. military is trying to go in a war with the people agreement.
